I ran across something the other day that took me a bit by surprise. It was the site, WarcraftMillionaire.com and its owner, Brad, claimed he was on the verge of becoming the first millionaire in the game. I thought about that statement for a minute and realized that I had never seen anyone with that much gold before.
Sure, I'd seen a lot of gold. Some of my friends have over 100,000 gold, but they have been playing since the game's launch and know what they are doing. Myself, I only have a few thousand and I grind constantly to make more.
How was it that this guy had managed to do what is seemingly impossible when millions of other players have been at it for just as long and are nowhere close? I did a little more research and after a bit of looking found the video proof Brad had provided to really drive his point home (see it here).
Sure enough, in a few short minutes, Brad clicked between a small collection of characters he had on the same server that each had reached the gold cap of 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper, something I hadn't even known existed; I mean, who actually reaches the gold cap?
But there it was, in full living color – I won't say I was shocked, because it was something much more. I have been playing this game for a long time and seeing something like that is like witnessing a World Class runner break a speed record or seeing someone scale Everest blindfolded. It just hasn't been done before.
I had to know how he had done it; what had this player done that no one else had done before; what did see in the game that others had missed. His strategy must surely be superior… right?
The truth of the matter is that it was not nearly as superior as you would think. It seems that Brad's friends and fellow players have been asking the same question of him for some time and so he has put together a collection of resources at his website that promises to guide the casual or even hardcore player through the same process he used to reach the upper echelons of gaming.
But, his secret was so simple I could have hit myself in the head. I'd heard it a hundred times before, but I had never heard it quite like Brad put it. It's all in the Auction House. We all know that; we've been to the Auction House and we've seen what kind of gold it can provide, but none of us would have guessed that there was quite that much gold in it.
Suffice it to say, I have never seen such concise, well described advice on how to use the Auction House to make gold. I probably won't reach a million gold anytime soon, but I definitely feel much more confident in my ability to run the economy on my server with an ironfist, and already the gold making rates I had always maligned have started to grow. This guide is the real dealand Brad is a WoW genius. THE GUIDE
There's been a lot of talk lately about a new comer to what many of us might call an overcrowded gold guide market – that of Warcraft Millionaire.
I've read a lot about Brad, the author's, claims and was quite skeptical at first that anyone could have made 1 million gold in a game that has a gold cap of 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper. It just didn't seem possible and so I, like many, wrote it off at first as creative boasting by another guide writer. Don't make the same mistake I did though!
This guide is the real deal. Not only does Brad provide video proof of his claims on his website (watch the video here), he provides one of the most comprehensive gold guides I've seen yet. Not only do you get a half dozen different guides; a 1-60 guide, an Outland guide, a grinding guide, a Daily Quest guide, an Auction House guide, and a Limited Items compendium; he writes it in a way that is easy to understand reference – an issue I've heard time and again with other gold guides on the market.
Once you crack into the beginner's guide and start reading the tips and tricks that Brad has to offer, you start to see just why he was able to become the game's first millionaire. It's not just a laundry list of grinding locations (though he does provide these), it's a complete step by step process that walks you through how to utilize the grinding locations and gold making methods to the best possible consequences.
Many times, a gold guide just tosses ideas at you and expects you to figure them out for yourself. They give you a zone and a mob and say "kill this". Brad, starts with the big picture and slowly narrows in on what you need to know about gold making in the game.
One of my favorite parts of this program though is his Auction House guide. This is by far one of the best Auction House descriptions I have yet read. He deftly weaves descriptions of real world economic concepts into how the game operates and how you can actually play the Auction House like the stock market for exponentially increasing returns. The rest of the guide program provides you with plenty of information about what items you should be looking for and how much money you can expect to make.
With the right approach to the Auction House, you can be sure that you will start making gold just like Brad. While I would have liked to see a bit more intense focus on Outland and a few more grinding locations that don't require a flying mount, I cannot fault Brad for this one minor issue – the rest of the guide is so well situated (and illustrated) that I can fully believe that he was able to reach his gold level without spending a dime of his own real world money.THE GUIDE
I heard about a new product recently that has been gathering a good amount of buzz in the World of Warcraft community. It happens every now and then – someone comes along with an incredible claim and the players (like myself) who have been around for a long time cock and eyebrow and start asking questions. It's a good practice as it weeds out the people who are only throwing recycled information at us and trying to sell it. Eventually though, especially with a product like Warcraft Millionaire, people have to stand up and share with the world what the new product actually is so that the constant questioning and nay saying can die down.I've had a couple of weeks now with this guide and that time has given me more than enough to share my experiences with Brad Johnson's new gold making guide. At first, I was skeptical that anyone like Brad Johnson could even exist. He claims that he has made 1 million gold – or to be exact is about to reach 1 million gold for the first time in game history. The claim alone is so outrageous that message boards have been buzzing with activity about it ever since the product was announced and haven't stopped yet.Luckily for everyone, Brad has made sure to prove his credentials by posting a video of his millionaire account, complete with all of the characters that have reached the 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper gold cap that Blizzard has on single characters. But, I don't want to just focus on Brad's accomplishment. I'll admit I was skeptical, but when I saw his video and read the various descriptions of what you get in this guide, I saw that there was a lot of good information to be had in there. So, I took the plunge and boy am I glad I did.Warcraft Millionaire is different from every other gold guide for a few good reasons. First, it provides what none of them do – a complete outlook on gold making, as told through the eyes of an expert. Starting with the beginners guide and going through each level of the game to describe how you make gold, even before you reach Level 10, you will not feel left out if you don't yet have a Level 60+ character in Outland. The Auction guide is among the most thorough and descriptive around, providing in-depth walkthroughs of how to use the Auction, not just like everyone else, but like a professional trader to make thousands of gold a day without spending hours online.Basically, with Warcraft Millionaire, you're getting something that very few other players could have written – you're getting the culmination of years of experience and practice playing the game made possible and it is among the best I've yet seen. If you haven't yet, visit WarcraftMillionaire.com today and read more about this top notch, one of a kind gold making guide.THE GUIDE
Warcraft Millionaire, if you have not yet heard of it, is a brand new gold making guide from the only player on earth to reach the 1 million gold mark in the game and probably the richest MMORPG player of all time.
The premise behind the guide is simple – by following Brad Johnson's simple gold making tactics, you can start working your way toward what he has accomplished in the last four years – a massive fortune that most people cannot quite believe exists.
There has been a lot of argument over whether Brad's claim is even possible. I was one of the many who took to forums to pick up various sides of the argument, but as the facts surfaced and I looked into things, I found more and more that the truth was just as surprising as it has seemed – Brad really has reached astronomical gold heights. Here are the arguments I've heard and the truth behind them:
1. The Gold Cap – The Gold cap for a single character in World of Warcraft is 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper. Blizzard limited the amount of gold a player can carry in the coding with an algorithm. Basically, once you reach this maximum, it's like hitting Level 70 and getting experience – they're meaningless. Brad has multiple characters that have hit this gold cap and has a video on his website showcasing each of them – argument debunked.
2. The Time Issue – Another problem a lot of people have with Brad's guide is that the time just doesn't work out. At 400 gold/hour, a total at the very limit of feasible gold making for many players, it would still take 2500 hours to reach 1 million gold – 105 straight days of gold farming. But, Brad never claims he farmed his gold. Rather, he openly discusses how he has used the Auction House to make massive profits in short times by knowing the market and playing it effectively.
3.Cheating – The final sect of players who don't believe Brad's claim simply state that he must have cheated. Their claims are not entirely baseless. There are hundreds of thousands of accounts that have been banned for using bots, hacks, or cheats to make gold, steal from other players, or farm it illegally. But, Brad's track record has proven his riches and the screenshots and video are the hard proof to show that he actually has the gold and knows how to make more.
I didn't believe it at first either, but the more I researched and the more I learned about Brad's gold making methods, the more I realized that he really is near the 1 million gold mark and that his gold making guide is probably the most effective one on the market – after all, who better to learn from than the guy who can claim the largest in game fortune of anyone out of more than 9 million players?THE GUIDE
I got an email the other day from a friend I used to be in a guild with in World of Warcraft. I still play, but he left us about six months ago because he was having trouble keeping up with his classes. I understand – I've been there before myself.
He was thinking of jumping back into the game and wanted to ask me about a guide he had just read about and whether I thought it was legitimate. The name of the guide was Warcraft Millionaire.
Now, I'd heard the name tossed around a couple of times in general chat in Ironforge and on a couple of the forums, but hadn't really thought much of it. There are dozens of gold making guides out there and they usually just recycle the same information. But, my friend was a pro and he seemed to be excited about it – he even said it might get him back into the game and the guild just so he could see how well it worked. If the guide was that compelling, I needed to find out more about it so, I visited the website at WarcraftMillionaire.com and read more about what the guy who wrote it – Brad Johnson – was selling.
My friend was right in a lot of ways. The guide is much different than the other ones I've seen before. First, it is written by the game's first self-professed millionaire – something that was relatively hard to believe until I saw the video of him showcasing his multiple characters at the gold cap.
Second, the guide is extremely well written. A lot of times, you'll find that game guides are written by someone who clearly didn't spend much time awake during English classes in school. Well organized, well thought out and broken up into neat, easy to read sections, Warcraft Millionaire is a pleasure to read.
Finally, the information in the guide and its multiple bonus guides, is really quite useful. Not only does it include information that I have been more than a little interested in learning more about – things like low level gold techniques (why does every guide seem to focus on Outland these days) and advanced Auction House advice. The guide also focuses on helping beginners and veterans alike understand the basic fundamentals of the Warcraft economy instead of just showing them where to go and kill stuff for gold. It's a nice breath of fresh air and I can see why this guide would work – if only because it is so easy to follow.
I won't make any claims or statements about this guide making you a millionaire, or even thousands of gold for that matter – you always have to put the work in to be successful with things like this; but I will say that there are dozens of great gold making tips, a thorough, well presented voice, and one of the top notch approaches to gold making I've seen a long time. Plus, I'm glad to have my friend back in the guild. Kudos to Brad.
